AGMS Child Safety

At the Australian Guild of Music & Speech, we are committed to providing an environment which is safe for children and youths, and to ensuring that this is reflected in all aspects of our business operations.

We have developed a policy, to help our team understand and manage child and youth safety, and to set a framework to ensure that we provide a safe environment for children and young people, and that we meet all of our objectives and comply with all of our legal and regulatory obligations in relation to these matters.

We embrace the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, endorsed by all Australian governments, and the Queensland Child Safe Standards established under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (Qld). We are committed to embedding these 10 standards, together with Queensland’s universal principle of cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, across our governance, policies, practices, physical environments and online activities to promote the safety, wellbeing and rights of every child and young person who engages with AGMS.
